Ingredients:
For the Chicken Marinade:
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
For the Tzatziki Sauce:
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- ½ cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh dill or mint, chopped
- Salt & pepper to taste
For Serving:
- Warm pita bread
- Sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, and red onions
- Feta cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Marinate the Chicken:
- Mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the chicken and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for more flavor).
2️⃣ Cook the Chicken:
- Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
3️⃣ Make the Tzatziki Sauce:
- Mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, dill/mint, salt, and pepper. Chill before serving.
